TRX made bodyweight training a household fitness concept, but its latest move adds even more weight, with a co-branded vest with Aion.
The brand has partnered with the premium weighted vest company for a limited-edition weighted vest in its signature black and yellow colors, launching the popular training tool at this month’s TRX Training Summit in Delray Beach, Florida.
“Aion is proud to partner with TRX, a brand that has set the standard for functional training for decades,” Aion founder Brent Yates said. “Both companies are committed to performance and longevity by helping people level up their workouts at every age. It’s a natural fit.”
Available in men’s ($329) and women’s ($279) fits, the vest uses Aion’s breathable, antimicrobial materials to promote circulation.
The TRX collaboration builds on Aion’s partnership with luxury athletic country club operator Life Time, which announced last fall that it would add its weighted vests to its club locations in the U.S. and Canada and provide members with exclusive discounts on Aion products.
Though weighted vests were once a staple of the most dedicated athletes, they’ve become one of 2026’s hottest fitness accessories, buoyed by a growing body of research supporting their longevity benefits.
Recent findings from Wake Forest University revealed that wearing a weighted vest offers protective benefits against muscle and bone loss, as long as you’re engaging in consistent movement.
If longevity research weren’t enough to cement the weighted vest’s place in the fitness and wellness era, “Saturday Night Live” settled the debate in January with a sketch that had suburban walkers competing over who could carry the most weight.
