Crypto exchange Giottus launches perpetual futures | Business

Chennai/Bangalore: Giottus, one of India’s leading crypto exchanges with 1.2 million customers, has launched Perpetual Futures on its platform. As part of the rollout, all trades on Perpetual Futures will be completely fee-free until September 30.

It will enable smooth onboarding and real-time execution across select crypto coin pairs with a minimum investment of ₹100. Crypto Perpetual Futures is an innovative financial derivative that, unlike traditional futures contracts, has no expiry date. This allows traders to hold positions indefinitely while using leverage to amplify potential gains or manage risk, all without the need to roll over contracts periodically. Pricing is anchored through a funding rate mechanism, ensuring that perpetual contracts closely track the spot market value of the underlying crypto asset.
