Myzone is continuing its tech-forward approach to boosting fitness engagement with the launch of the Switch 2.0.
The new iteration of its heart rate monitor allows users to wear the device three different ways: on the chest, arm or wrist, alongside a host of upgrades.
Notably, the Switch 2.0 features a redesigned breathable wrist strap for enhanced comfort, a larger LED screen with clearer real-time effort feedback and longer battery life — as long as three to six months between charges. For swimmers, the wearable is also waterproof up to a depth of 10 meters.
Myzone’s device stays true to the brand’s philosophy of exercising with effort, as users can better understand how their effort levels vary from workout to workout.
At the heart of that approach is the brand’s Motivation Technology (MoTech) ecosystem, a dedicated category of fit tech that combines cutting-edge technology with behavioral science to boost motivation and long-term commitment to fitness.
“Switch 2.0 represents everything we believe a modern wearable should be: versatile, intuitive, motivating and built to give people clear feedback on their effort,” said Myzone CEO Jay Worthy. “This update reflects how closely we listen to our operator and user network. Their insights ensure we continually refine our ecosystem to keep pace with how people choose to move.”
The brand has committed to its MoTech ecosystem throughout all of its product launches, including Myzone Go, unveiled last November.
The app is designed to work on smartwatches and Myzone devices, powered by MoTech, with the goal of helping operators fuel long-term member engagement as members build lasting exercise habits with the behavioral science-based software.
