Infinex announces ‘Infinex Connect’ and a vision for next-gen crypto apps

In a keynote presentation at TOKEN2049 Dubai, Infinex Founder Kain Warwick previewed the launch of Infinex Connect – a new way of interacting with dapps. Warwick also announced the Infinex Connect SDK, allowing dapp developers to build a new class of crypto application.

Next-gen crypto apps

Infinex Connect allows Infinex users to connect their account to third party dapps and use their cross-chain portfolio and popular Infinex features such as Swidge, right inside the dapp.

Connect eliminates long-standing user pain points including unstable wallet connections, browser extensions, transaction signing, gas management, etc. In their place, Connect provides a next-generation user experience with SSO-style authentication, simple policy-based signing permissions, easy access to cross-chain balances, gasless just-in-time swaps, and more.

The first wave of Infinex Connect-enabled apps will be available in May 2025. Launch partners include Fogo, MegaETH, Aave, Ethena, and more.

Onchain command center

When users interact with external dapps using Infinex Connect, activity flows back into their Infinex account. Positions, onchain assets, and rewards are all visible and actionable inside Infinex, replacing the need to jump between multiple apps, serving as a central command centre for users’ onchain activity.

Connect builds on the existing Infinex App and Platform, which includes a flexible smart contract Wallet, onchain recoverable Vaults, and Swidge – a universal swap and bridge feature that supports thousands of assets across 11+ supported networks.

Connect SDK for developers

Also announced was the Infinex Connect SDK, which gives developers a way to natively integrate Infinex account support into their dapps and take advantage of powerful new features. The SDK will launch in private beta in June 2025.
