The new group, which represents more than half of all YogaSix studios, is working to promote long-term financial health and collaboration across the growing yoga brand
A new association has launched to advocate for franchisee interests across the YogaSix system, and it already represents more than half of the brand’s studios.
The Independent Association of Yoga Franchisees (IAYF), announced this month, was founded by and for studio owners to support the long-term financial health and operational success of the YogaSix community. The brand is the largest franchised yoga concept in the U.S., with nearly 200 studios nationwide. Backed by Xponential Fitness, it has recently expanded into Germany and Japan.
“Our goal is to work collaboratively with Xponential Fitness to support long-term growth and sustainability,” a representative from the IAYF Steering Committee said. “We believe that open dialogue and shared goals will benefit franchisees, the franchisor and ultimately, the YogaSix brand as a whole.”
The YogaSix corporate team is aware of the group’s formation and, according to a person familiar with the matter, supports efforts that foster collaboration among franchisees, contribute to their success and promote the brand’s mission to bring more YogaSix into people’s lives.
