After a bumpy night in Greenville, NC, on Raw that saw Zoey Stark suffer what looked to be a serious knee injury, there were no changes to the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event card. Instead, we saw heat and layers added to a pair of the scheduled matches.

Here is the confirmed shortlist of matches on tap for Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Date, Time and How to Watch

  • Date: Saturday, May 24
  • Time: 8 pm ET
  • TV/Stream: Peacock

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Matches

  • (c) Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • CM Punk and Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker
  • John Cena vs. R-Truth – Non-Title Match
  • Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre – Steel Cage match

Logan Paul Decks Jey Uso Again

Is WWE going to let Paul capture his first world championship at Uso’s expense? Probably not, but Paul has been getting the better of all the scraps between the two on WWE programming.

On Monday, Paul decked Uso with his huge right hand and left the scene looking victorious. This is now the fourth time Paul has laid Uso out. I expect these two to put on an excellent match in Tampa, but I’d be shocked if WWE ended the latter’s title run this soon.

CM Punk and Sami Zayn Brawl With Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker

This feud and brawl now includes Uso, who is seemingly on a collision course with Gunther while also going through the paces with Paul. The elements are setting up what could be a chaotic and entertaining ending to the show.

It would be great to see Heyman’s guys add a third member to their faction, and it makes sense for it to happen during a tag-team match where the third party could be the difference in a brawl with Punk and Zayn.

I’ve been rooting for Austin Theory to be the third man. We’ll see if that happens Saturday or anytime in the future.

Cena and Truth Collide in a Non-Title Match

Why is the match a non-title tilt? Because WWE wants you to believe that there is a chance Truth will go over. Everyone knows there is no chance for Truth to become the WWE World Champion, but it might be feasible for him to steal a win over Cena in a non-title match.

While I don’t think it’ll happen, I’m intrigued about the match and where it will fit on Cena’s farewell tour.

Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre Prepare for Another Brutal Classic

I thought we’d seen everything we were going to see from these two at WrestleMania 41. Priest and McIntyre created the best Street Fight I’ve ever seen. Still, WWE will attempt to get even more out of this feud with a Steel Cage Match on SNME.

It feels like it is time for Priest to go over. We’ll see him actually getting the victory.
