Westin Resort & Spa Ubud is promoting slower, more immersive wellness travel with a new extended-stay offer anchored in nature and local tradition

Westin Ubud is putting “slow wellness” in focus – and it could become the next big wellness travel trend.

While many vacations revolve around checking off landmarks and snapping countless photos, Westin Resort & Spa Ubud is embracing a slower, more intentional approach, as it doubles down on restorative wellness tourism, appealing to travelers looking for a relaxing getaway in a nature-rich setting infused with local rituals.

As part of its “Stay Longer, Save Bigger” initiative, the resort is rewarding wellness seekers who opt for a longer stay, encouraging them to linger and immerse themselves more fully in the Ubud experience and all that Bali has to offer, such as the Sacred Monkey Forest and Campuhan Ridge Walk.

The guest experience begins with a traditional Balinese blessing ritual followed by opportunities to engage in other practices, including the making of canang sari offerings and a calming Sandikala sunset meditation ritual. Other wellness offerings include daily yoga sessions, aqua workouts and treatments at the resort’s on-site Heavenly Spa. Guests also benefit from Westin’s “Eat Well” pillar, with menus focused on balanced, nutrient-rich meals designed to support overall well-being.
