Telehealth and better-for-you food brands were plentiful on LinkedIn’s top 50 startups list, showcasing the power of the wellness economy
LinkedIn’s ninth annual Top Startups 2025 list reveals what’s still growing in a slower economy: wellness, as a business and a career move.
Out of 50 fast-growing companies, 10 sit squarely within health, wellness or consumer well-being, a sign that even in a cooling job market, the wellness economy continues to expand.
LinkedIn’s list, which highlights U.S.-based startups, is built on real hiring and engagement momentum. The platform scored companies across four pillars: employment growth of at least 10% during the methodology period, engagement from non-employees following or viewing the company, job interest measured through views and applications and attraction of top talent (defined by how many employees joined from LinkedIn’s Top Companies list).
In order to qualify, aside from being U.S.-based, startups had to be privately held and less than five years old, with at least 50 full-time employees and no layoffs exceeding 10% between July 2024 and June 2025.
So who made the cut? These 10 startups are redefining what it means to build a business around improving well-being and are hiring rapidly to prove it.
