UFC Gym is expanding into Spain with a seven-site deal that includes the rebranding of six existing CR7 Fitness gyms — a franchise concept launched in 2016 by Crunch Fitness in partnership with soccer star and wellness investor Cristiano Ronaldo — with a seventh location in the works.
Additional locations in Spain are also on the roadmap, UFC Gym said.
The fitness brand will operate two formats in the market: UFC Gym Signature, a full-service concept featuring strength and cardio equipment, functional training, MMA-inspired programming, recovery areas and wellness zones; and UFC Gym Jiu Jitsu, a boutique format focused on boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts.
The latter launched last year as the brand looks to broaden its footprint amid growing demand for combat sports training, a shift that tracks with the UFC’s own ascent to prime-time fixture.

The Spain announcement follows UFC Gym’s recent reveal of a mainland China expansion, where the brand plans to open facilities in major cities in partnership with local operators.
UFC Gym has also been looking beyond the punching bags and training mats, announcing a joint venture with longevity medicine company NexGen MD Scientific to place clinics featuring GLP-1s, peptides and hormone therapies inside its locations. The concept will launch in Torrance and Corona, California next month, with a full rollout planned across the UFC Gym network over the next two years.
