Two Real Madrid first team stars that are “invisible” to head coach Carlo Ancelotti want to leave the club according to SPORT, which cited anonymous sources.

Talked up as the future of Brazilian and Turkish football respectively, Endrick and Arda Guler are currently frozen out at the Bernabeu.

While the former was captured from Palmeiras for a reported fee of around $63 million (€60 million) as Madrid pipped the likes of Chelsea to the post, Madrid famously outsmarted bitter rival FC Barcelona to land Guler in the summer of 2023 for €20 million, after surpassing his €17.5 million clause at Fenerbahce.

Guler has a season more at Madrid on his back compared to Endrick, who could only cross the Atlantic when he turned 18 last July.

In 2024/2025, however, they share the same fate as the 17th (Guler) and 18th (Endrick) ranked players when it comes to the least amount of minutes earned in Ancelotti’s side, with only the ostracized Jesus Vallejo and previously injured David Alaba – who has just returned to action from a December 2023 ACL tear – below them.

The youngsters seems invisible to Ancelotti, who has granted few starts and often refuses to introduce them even in games where the points already seem to have been secured or the team could do with a burst of energy off the bench.

It is unsurprising that both players were linked to potential exits in the recently closed winter transfer window, with an Endrick who has Kylian Mbappe is his way touted to continue his European progress at the likes of Southampton in the Premier League.

As both players want to play the 2026 World Cup with their countries, rotting on the bench in the Spanish championship will do little to convince national team coaches for Brazil and Turkey to form their attacking plans around the prodigies.

Because of this, SPORT reports that both players want to leave in the summer, again via a loan to a top team where they have the opportunity to grow and be regular features for their temporary clubs heading towards the mentioned FIFA international tournament that will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
