A new partnership with Flex unlocks eligibility for Therabody’s beauty and wellness devices that were once out of reach

Therabody is expanding access to its wellness technology, teaming with Flex to make its TheraFace Mask, SmartGoggles and SleepMask eligible for purchase with pre-tax health dollars and expanding coverage to devices that were previously ineligible.

Notably, the newly eligible devices touch on both beauty and wellness at a time when consumers increasingly view recovery, skin health and sleep as core parts of their wellness routines. The FDA-cleared TheraFace Mask utilizes LED light therapy to reduce signs of aging and enhance skin health, while the SmartGoggles alleviate eye strain and stress with massage, heat and vibration. The SleepMask supports deeper rest with a blackout design and three vibration patterns that help users drift into a more restful slumber.

The partnership with Flex, a health and wellness payment solution provider, makes them easily accessible, allowing customers with qualifying conditions to generate instant Letters of Medical Necessity at checkout.

“Therabody has set the standard for recovery technology, and we’re proud to make their products more accessible by enabling consumers to shop with their HSA and FSA funds,” Flex CEO Sam O’Keefe said.

While the change opens access to the TheraFace Mask, SmartGoggles and SleepMask, customers can still use HSA and FSA funds to buy Therabody’s other eligible products, including the Theragun, JetBoots and ThermBack LED.
