The limited edition bottle is part of the Roaming Man collection. The Tennessee straight rye whiskey is a smooth 100 proof, creating a fantastic collector’s boottle. This special bottle combines Petty’s legacy with the award-winning Roaming Man.
“It’s an honor to be featured by Sugarlands and their esteemed Roaming Man collection,” Petty said. “The release at Daytona is a perfect fit. This is the place where we had a lot of success and there are a lot of special memories for our family. I can’t think of a better place to debut this partnership and celebrate those moments with our fans. Hopefully, this is the first of many more releases to come.”
The Roaming Man bottle features Petty’s iconic signature, as well as his well-known No. 43. This is not the first time Sugarlands has worked with Petty, as the distillery has supported the Petty Family Foundation for years.
“We’re honored to work with Richard and to create something truly special for race fans,” said Patrick Sullivan, chief revenue officer at Sugarlands. “Roaming Man bottles are already highly coveted among whisky enthusiasts and we hope this bottle becomes a cherished collector’s item for fans of the King as well.”
Sugarlands said there are additional releases planned with Petty in the future.
Sugarlands become well known in the Nascar realm in 2022, when it partnered with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Amy Earnhardt to create High Rock Vodka.
