The “Repowered” platform gives people a way to sell or purchase pre-owned Peloton equipment, with sustainability benefits and added transparency over third-party marketplaces
Peloton has launched “Repowered,” its marketplace that allows users to list, sell and buy pre-owned Peloton equipment and accessories, on a nationwide basis after seeing strong early returns from a pilot run.
Initially piloted in June in Boston, New York and the Washington, D.C., metro area, the platform has already generated over 400 listings and is now available for sellers across the U.S. Purchasing options will open to buyers in August.
The marketplace, powered by Archive, is Peloton’s latest step toward making its connected fitness products more accessible and reducing waste. Repowered allows Members to sell their used Bikes, Treads, and accessories with pricing guidance based on market trends and equipment condition. Sellers choose their own price and receive both a cash payout and a discount on their next Peloton equipment purchase.
Buyers, in turn, will be able to browse listings with detailed equipment history summaries, including usage, service and warranty information. A buyer protection policy is also available for extra confidence, and an optional delivery service is expected to launch soon.

“We know that many people are looking for more flexible, affordable ways to join or upgrade within the Peloton ecosystem,” said Peloton chief product officer Nick Caldwell. “With Repowered, we’re creating a space where people can feel confident buying and selling used equipment, with safeguards in place and transparency around product history.”
“We wanted this to be something that’s easy to use and genuinely helpful for our Members — whether someone’s just getting started with Peloton or moving on from a product they no longer need,” added Caldwell, who spoke at the ATN Innovation Summit 2025 last month in New York City.
Repowered is also part of Peloton’s broader push toward sustainability. By giving its equipment a second life, the company hopes to support a more circular economy and reduce the environmental impact of hardware production and disposal.
