The collab comes as travelers head into 2026 with rest/recharging as their number-one leisure motivation, according to Hilton data
Wellness tourism is booming and so is the obsession with better sleep, a pairing Hilton has brought to life with the first Calm “sleep story” recorded inside a hotel suite and narrated by fashion personality Paige DeSorbo.
The launch builds on the partnership Hilton and the mindfulness app forged earlier this year, which integrates guided meditations, sleep stories, soundscapes and mindfulness exercises directly into guest rooms through Hilton’s in-room TV experience.
The latest story, “Sweet Dreams at Waldorf Astoria New York,” drops today on the Calm app and will stream in-room across participating Hilton properties, where guests can access Calm’s content without a subscription.
Hilton has the data to justify the moment: according to the company’s global research, 56% of consumers say their top reason for traveling for leisure in 2026 will be to rest and recharge.

“At Hilton, we see rest as an essential part of luxury,” Hilton vice president of wellness Amanda Al-Masri said. “Through our partnership with Calm, we’re helping guests embrace ‘The Stay’ as a restorative experience by creating rituals for relaxation and renewal.”
The new Sleep Story leans into the desire to unwind as DeSorbo guides listeners through a slow and serene journey inspired by the hotel’s Art Deco aesthetic.
“Sleep has always been my love language,” said DeSorbo, who also founded loungewear brand Daphne. “Recording at Waldorf Astoria New York felt like the ultimate girls’ night-in: robe, skyline and complete calm. If this Calm Sleep Story encourages anyone to go to bed earlier, I’m all for it.”
Calm’s move with Hilton fits into a wider expansion that now includes a push into hardware, most recently through co-branded Sleepbuds with Ozlo and with functional beverage brand Trip.
