Onelife Fitness is making a $17 million investment as it expands into Abingdon, Maryland, its 12th location in the state.
26North Partners acquired Onelife Fitness in a deal valuing the fitness operator at a reported $500 million last fall. Earlier this year, the Virginia-based Onelife Fitness acquired two 24 Hour Fitness Locations in Fairfax and Falls Church.
According to the club operator, the new location, Onelife Fitness Box Hill, features 60,000 square feet and will create over 100 jobs for the community.
In addition to standard gym offerings like strength and cardio equipment, Onelife Fitness Box Hill features Olympic lifting platforms, expansive functional turf training areas, two outdoor workout spaces, and a Strike boxing studio. The gym also offers boutique-style classes, including BodyPump, Zumba, Apex-HIIT, cycling, barre, yoga and Pilates.
As for amenities, Onelife features an indoor saltwater pool, whirlpool, in-ground cold plunge and a kids club. Members can also access a recovery studio with HydroMassage, red light therapy, percussion and compression therapy, luxury spa-inspired locker rooms and a sauna.

Another new Onelife Fitness club in Annapolis is slated to open next spring.
