A special-edition Omorpho G-Vest, reimagined in Orangetheory’s signature orange accents, is now available exclusively to members who want to give their workout an edge

Things are getting heavy between Omorpho and Orangetheory Fitness.

The weighted training gear brand has been named the preferred weighted vest provider for Orangetheory with Omorpho’s form-fitting G-Vest now available for purchase at Orangetheory studios nationwide.

The Oregon-based micro-weighted fitness brand had secured $3 million in funding in 2023, bringing its total investment to $16 million.

To mark the collaboration, Omorpho has also launched a limited-edition G-Vest featuring Orangetheory’s signature orange accents and splat logo. The exclusive drop—designed with Omorpho’s ergonomic fit and evenly distributed resistance—is available only to Orangetheory members across the U.S.

“We’re thrilled to work with Orangetheory Fitness and bring the benefits of weighted training gear to their dedicated members,” Omorpho founder and CEO Stefan Olander said. “Our mission is to make every human stronger, and this collaboration allows us to support Orangetheory’s commitment to delivering innovative and effective fitness solutions to their members.”

Breaking fitness consumers free from standard bulky weighted gear, Omorpho uses MicroLoad technology, relying on small amounts of weight made up of hundreds of high-density polymer spheres to build endurance, tone muscles and burn more calories. These spheres are fused directly to the fabric, distributing 0.5 to 2 pounds of resistance evenly and comfortably so users can move freely through a wide range of workouts.

Starting this month, Omorpho trial kits—featuring the brand’s signature weighted G-Vest—will roll out in select Orangetheory studios. Members and staff will also receive exclusive access to special pricing on select Omorpho products.

“At Orangetheory, we’re always evolving our offerings to meet the needs of our members,” said Scott Brown, Orangetheory’s vice president of fitness. “Strength is a growing focus, and incorporating tools like Omorpho’s G-Vest gives members a new way to challenge themselves and make progress. This marks another step forward in functional training and our shared commitment to helping every human achieve their fitness goals.”

In a recent interview with Athletech News, new Orangetheory President Lauren Cody outlined her priorities for the popular boutique fitness brand—including becoming a longevity partner for its members and elevating the franchise on a global scale, teasing that there would be a few “secret pilots” in the works this year, as well as exciting innovation in the future.

Cody also highlighted Orangetheory’s broad member demographic.

“We’re very inclusive – we have members from 15 to 78, and probably even older than that, so want to make sure we’re always giving our most enthusiastic members what they want, when they want it and how they want it,” Cody said. “Results are the biggest driver of choice for the studio fitness industry. People want to burn fat and build muscle. And when we look at our most common member, that person also wants longevity benefits – they’re happy to put the time in now to get the payoff later in life. We keep that in mind as we think about any brand strategy we execute.”

Cody is set to attend the ATN Innovation Summit this June. Want to hear more from Cody and other top fitness and wellness executives? The ATN Innovation Summit 2025, a can’t-miss two-day event featuring immersive content, a wellness lounge, cutting-edge expo hall and ample networking opportunities, comes to New York City this June 17-18.
