NYSC is expanding its Hyrox affiliation to more locations as New Yorkers embrace the sport-meets-gym format
New York Sports Club (NYSC) is expanding its partnership with Hyrox, the global fitness race brand, amid rising interest in functional and competitive in-person events.
After a strong debut at NYSC’s Astoria location, the Northeast fitness chain will roll out Hyrox Training Club classes and in-gym challenges like the Hyrox-inspired PFT (Physical Fitness Test) to additional clubs across the New York area this summer.

“The decision to become a Hyrox Training Club has been a huge hit in Astoria, drawing both seasoned competitors and everyday fitness enthusiasts seeking a new challenge,” NYSC chief marketing and creative officer Kari Saitowitz said. “We’re thrilled to expand our Hyrox affiliation and help more people discover how transformative Hyrox-style training can be—not just for physical performance, but for mental toughness and social wellbeing.”
New class schedules begin this month and include:
Astoria (ongoing): Saturdays at 9 a.m.
41st Street: Wednesdays at 7 p.m. starting July 9, Saturdays at 9 a.m. starting July 12
91st Street: Thursdays at 7 p.m. starting July 10
Dobbs Ferry: Mondays at 5 p.m. starting July 14, Saturdays at 9 a.m. starting July 19
Glendale: Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. starting July 16
Classes are led by NYSC trainers and are open to members through the app. Non-members can join by paying a guest fee at the front desk.
“As a native New Yorker myself, I could not be more excited to welcome such an iconic brand like NYSC to our family of Hyrox Training Clubs,” Hyrox Northeast regional manager Constantine Mouzakitis said. “Working with this team of fitness professionals to bring more opportunities to the NY community of Hyrox enthusiasts has been an absolute pleasure, and I can’t wait to watch the program grow across the entire family of NYSC locations.”
