Renée Zellweger and Leo Woodall in “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.”
Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant’s new romantic comedy Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is new on streaming. Where can you watch the movie at home?
In Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, Zellweger reprises her title character for the fourth and final time. The Cold Mountain and Judy Oscar winner first played the character in Bridget Jones’s Diary in 2001, which was followed by Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason in 2004. After a 12-year hiatus, Zellweger returned to the role in 2016 for Bridget Jones’s Baby.
Zellweger’s Bridget Jones movies are all based on the bestselling novels by Helen Fielding. Firth has starred alongside Zellweger in all four Bridget Jones movies while Grant has appeared in the first, second and fourth films in the series.
The logline for Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy reads, “Bridget Jones navigates life as a widow and single mum with the help of her family, friends, and former lover, Daniel. Back to work and on the apps, she’s pursued by a younger man and maybe – just maybe – her son’s science teacher.”
