Life Time will incorporate Aion’s patented weighted vests into its personal and group training classes, while members will receive exclusive discounts
Life Time is changing what resistance training means at its clubs in a new partnership with weighted vest company Aion.
Capitalizing on the growing weighted vest trend, Life Time will incorporate Aion’s patented weighted vests across its 185 athletic country club locations in the U.S. and Canada, with Life Time members also gaining access to exclusive discounts on Aion products.
The new partnership also establishes Aion as the official weighted vest sponsor of the Dynamic Personal Training, Signature Group Training, and Arora programs in Life Time clubs, along with official sponsorship and activations at certain fitness events, like the Miami and Chicago marathons.
“Partnering with Life Time is a pivotal step for Aion,” said Aion founder Brent Yates. “Together, we’re making Dynamic Resistance accessible to millions, helping people move better, recover faster, and redefine what’s possible in their training.”
A select number of Life Time Dynamic Personal Trainers and Life Time’s MB360 training program team members will be outfitted with Aion vests as an effort to demonstrate their benefits in training and recovery, while the brands also look to explore opportunities for broader integration into workout programs.
Aion offers a range of weighted vests geared towards different goals and abilities, with its Dynamic Resistance vests to maximize workout benefits, the Recovery Vest (men only) that marries heat and compression for circulation and workout recovery, and the Passive Resistance vests made for daily movement.
The brand differentiates from other weighted vests by offering a sleeker, more compressive fit geared towards performance. Their range of vests is suited for walking, HIIT, strength training, CrossFit, Pilates, yoga, cardio and other forms of exercise.
