Hyperice Brings Nike Recovery Shoes to Atlanta Run Club

Atlanta Run Club members will be able to use the new Hyperice x Nike shoes thanks to a partnership that includes Do Not Disturb, a recovery studio founded by former NFL player Brandon Chubb

Certain members of the Atlanta running community will soon be stepping into something lighter, smarter and potentially more impactful in their recovery journeys.

Hyperice, a leading wellness and recovery tech brand, is partnering with recovery studio Do Not Disturb and Atlanta Run Club to grant the run club’s members “exclusive access” to the new Hyperboot by Nike x Hyperice. The boot is a pioneer warm-up and recovery piece of footwear that offers a heated massage for athletes’ feet and ankles.

“Established in 2018, Atlanta Run Club exists to elevate community through the sport of running and the power of creativity,” said James Ro, founder of Atlanta Run Club. “We envision a space where runners can come together, push boundaries and uplift one another. Until all have ran, our mission is to bring every runner in our city to the starting line.”

The Hyperboot fuses Hyperice’s air-compression massage and heating tech inside a high-top Nike shoe. The shoes drive heat deep into the muscles and tissues of the feet and ankles to help athletes warm up faster and recover quicker. They also adjust between three different levels of heat and air compression to add a layer of customization to the user experience.

Through the partnership, Do Not Disturb will provide curated content, community programming and pop-up events to facilitate wellness at a greater scale in Atlanta.

“At Do Not Disturb, our mission is to build a culture around prioritizing wellness and sustainable routines,” said Brandon Chubb, founder of Do Not Disturb. “Partnering with innovative brands like Hyperice and Atlanta Run Club allows us to bring greater access to our community and bring that mission to life.”

Chubb, a former NFL linebacker and brother to two-time pro-bowler Bradley Chubb, has been a vocal advocate for wellness and recovery through cutting-edge products. His Do Not Disturb opened an Atlanta studio at Ponce City Market just last year.

“After years in Power 5 (college sports) and NFL facilities, I saw the impact of consistent and accessible wellness,” Chubb added. “Do Not Disturb was created to bring that same experience to Atlanta, and this partnership strengthens our role as the city’s premier wellness studio.”

The Hyperboot, which launched in May, has already established traction with the nation’s top athletes in more ways than one, with its wearers including reigning NFL rookie of the year Jayden Daniels and Olympian Sha’Carri Richardson. It’s been a busy summer for Hyperice with its other products as well, as the brand inked a partnership with F45 Training to make several of its recovery tools accessible to select members.
