Hone Health Adds Prenuvo Whole-Body MRI Scans in Longevity Play

Hone Health’s partnership with celeb-loved Prenuvo folds early detection into its telehealth platform

Hone Health is taking its telehealth platform a step further, partnering with non-invasive, whole-body MRI screening provider Prenuvo to give patients an edge in proactive health screening.

The alliance enables Hone users to book and purchase one of Prenuvo’s radiation-free scans directly in the Hone Health app. Following the scan at a nearby Prenuvo facility, patients will then receive results from one of Prenuvo’s board-certified radiologists. A Hone clinician then meets with the patient and creates a personalized care plan based on the results.

“Our mission has always been to make longevity accessible,” Hone Health founder and CEO Saad Alam said. “By integrating Prenuvo’s scans, we’re turning what used to be an elite diagnostic into a routine part of preventive care.”

For Alam, the mission is personal. He launched the company in 2020 after watching a loved one decline from a preventable illness, not for lack of warning signs, but because, he says, the traditional health care system failed to catch them early enough. Around the same time, Alam faced his own health struggles, including low energy and mental fog. After multiple doctor visits with no clear answers, one test revealed low testosterone levels, sparking his drive to build a more proactive, data-driven approach to health.

Advanced preventive screening is gaining momentum in the quest for longevity. According to Prenuvo, its scan helps detect solid tumors and can identify cancers as early as stage 1, along with metabolic disorders, brain aneurysms, spinal degeneration, autoimmune diseases, and other non-cancerous conditions such as cysts, hematomas, hemangiomas and abscesses.

Prenuvo has also built a celebrity following. Actress and television host Maria Menounos credited the company’s scan with catching her pancreatic cancer early. Actress Kate Hudson shared on social media that she and her husband, Danny Fujikawa, had a “Prenuvo date,” each undergoing full-body MRI scans. The 46-year-old described the experience as part of their commitment to proactive health and longevity.

Earlier this year, Prenuvo secured $120 million in funding to expand its AI-powered early detection technology and FDA-cleared health assessments.

“This partnership bridges two critical gaps in modern medicine, both early detection and longitudinal care,” Prenuvo co-founder and CEO Andrew Lacy said. “By integrating our whole-body MRI insights into Hone’s clinical platform, patients and physicians can move from discovery to action within the same ecosystem. It’s a model for how preventative screening and continuous care can finally work in tandem to help contribute to both lifespan and healthspan.”

Prenuvo’s scans are currently offered at varying price points depending on the level of detail and location.

The company’s comprehensive whole-body scan, which evaluates major organs and the spine, starts at about $2,499, while its Enhanced Screening (which includes advanced brain health assessments, blood biomarker testing, and FDA-cleared body composition analysis) runs up to $3,999, or $4,499 in New York City. Shorter scans, such as torso-only options, are available for under $1,000.
