Connected fitness leader Echelon is partnering with Amazon Web Services to launch a generative AI-powered fitness platform designed to deliver personalized workout experiences.
It’s the latest move from the connected fitness leader, having recently introduced a GLP-1 service with the introduction of ActiveMD and last year’s acquisition of ThriveX, an advanced recovery company.
The new system will provide Echelon members a comprehensive analysis of fitness assessments, goals and preferences to create a tailored training program that adapts as a member progresses. It will also offer recommendations for class selections, exercise routines and instructors based on a member’s workout history and training preferences.
The new AI-driven fitness plans are offered through the entire Echelon ecosystem, including both its home and commercial equipment. According to the connected fitness company, early testing shows that the hyper-personalized approach could boost Echelon and commercial gym member retention by at least 7%.

The advanced AI platform is rolling out to Echelon members and commercial gyms today.
