Crunch Fitness franchisee powerhouse CR Fitness Holdings has acquired nine 24 Hour Fitness gyms in the Miami and Orlando area, which will be rebranded and outfitted with Crunch’s new 3.0 design template featuring elevated aesthetics.
The deal brings CR Fitness Holdings—led by four fitness industry veterans—to 84 gyms across Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Depending on the location, members can expect cardio and strength equipment, expanded Olympic weightlifting racks, a group fitness studio, hot yoga and Pilates, cycling, a relax-and-recover zone with HydroMassage and tanning, and upgraded locker rooms.
“We are thrilled at the opportunity to invest millions of dollars into these gyms and transform them into the Crunch Fitness brand and model,” CR Fitness Holdings CEO Tony Scrimale said.
Last summer, the North Castle Partners-backed CR Fitness acquired two New York Sports Clubs in Fort Myers, Florida. The group is aiming to operate 100 Crunch gyms by next year.
