Bodybar Pilates Raises Awareness for Human Trafficking in New Campaign

In collaboration with nonprofit The Worthy Co., the boutique fitness brand will sell exclusive candles with 100% of the proceeds going to the organization’s efforts to support survivors of trafficking

Bodybar Pilates is launching a campaign that simultaneously unveils a new gift idea ahead of the holiday season, and a product that gives back to survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

The campaign, called “Bodybar Does Good,” is in partnership with the Fort Worth, Texas-based nonprofit, The Worthy Co., which offers hands-on job training and employment programs for survivors.

All 68 of Bodybar’s studios nationwide will exclusively sell co-branded, santal and amber-scented candles — the Bodybar x Worthy Co. Candle, Impact — with all proceeds going towards The Worthy Co.’s programs.

“We’re proud to support The Worthy Co. this fall through our ‘Bodybar Does Good’ campaign,” said Bodybar’s chief brand officer, president and co-founder Kamille McCollum.

“As two great Texas-based brands, we share a mission to empower women of all backgrounds to be the best versions of themselves — whether through fitness or meaningful employment,” McCollum added. “The Worthy Co. helps women reclaim their strength and futures, and we’re honored to stand beside them now and in the future.”

The candles are handcrafted by women employed through the nonprofit social enterprise The Net, which is known for its trauma-informed work opportunities, professional skills training and guidance towards financial independence. The organization has served over 1,000 women in rebuilding their lives through its enrichment programs.

“We are so appreciative of Bodybar’s support as we continue to grow and make a positive impact in women’s lives,” said co-founder and chief vision officer of The Worthy Co, Melissa Ice.

The campaign is one of several community initiatives the brand put forth in 2025 to exemplify its values of empowerment, inclusivity and well-being.

“Human trafficking is a pervasive issue, and partnerships like this help us amplify our message: that every woman deserves a second chance and no past is too difficult to overcome,” Ice added. “Through this campaign, Bodybar Pilates is using its platform to elevate survivors’ voices and support us as we create meaningful employment opportunities for them.”

As an incentive to promote the campaign, the individual studio that sells the most candles will win a professional photo shoot.

Bodybar Pilates has seen increasing growth in the past year, signing its 150th franchise deal in June and now boasting over 16,000 active members.
