Nearly a decade after Blackpink released their first tune, one of the four members has finally scored a hit album on her own in America. Rosé’s first full-length as a soloist, Rosie, opens inside the top 10 on multiple charts, making her one of a very small number of K-pop soloists to do so.

Rosie was powered largely by lead single “Apt.,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars. Following that globe-dominating tune, Rosé shared two more focus tracks from the album, and the latest of that bunch becomes a Hot 100 smash this frame—one which helps her advance on an all-time ranking.

“Toxic Till The End” debuts on the Hot 100 this week, adding to the singer’s growing list of wins on the most competitive songs ranking in the U.S. Rosé’s single opens at No. 90 on the 100-space tally, which tracks the most-consumed cuts throughout the nation.

With a third Hot 100 appearance to her credit, Rosé now stands alone in second place on the list of the solo female K-pop musicians who have accrued the most smashes on the roster. Rosé is originally from New Zealand, but her entire music career has been based in South Korea, and she’s primarily known for her work in the K-pop space, even though her latest collection is really more “pop” instead of Korean pop.

Rosé debuted on the Hot 100 in 2021, when her solo single “On the Ground” reached No. 70. Just months ago, she and Mars pushed “Apt.” to No. 8. As it hit that special position, Rosé became the first K-pop female solo star to hit the top 10 on the tally.

Only one other solo female musician known mostly for her work in the K-pop arena has collected more Hot 100 hits. Lisa, another one of the four singers that make up Blackpink, has accrued four wins on her own, including several this year.

Before “Toxic Till The End” arrived, Rosé was matched with two other solo stars from South Korea for the second-most Hot 100 placements among all artists that fit that description, but now she’s pulled ahead. Both Jennie—yet another Blackpink singer—and CL have collected a pair of smashes on the tally. One more solo woman from that part of the world, Youjeen, has thus far earned one successful tune in the U.S.
