Beyoncé finally won Album of the Year at the Grammys earlier this month when Cowboy Carter was named the top title. The superstar had been working toward claiming what is often considered the most important category at the show for many years, and she finally earned the honor on her sixth attempt.
Following her historic showing at the Grammys, Cowboy Carter is back on multiple Billboard charts. As it reappears on several lists, the project also bolts back into the top 10 on two other rosters, and Beyoncé narrowly misses regaining control over one list.
Cowboy Carter gallops from No. 14 to No. 2 on the Americana/Folk Albums chart. This frame, only Stick Season by Noah Kahan beats her, as it holds at No. 1 for its forty-second frame.
The same project is also a top 10 smash once more on the Top Country Albums ranking. On that list, Cowboy Carter’s ascent is even more impressive, as it steps up from No. 37 to No. 4.
Cowboy Carter is also a top 40 hit once more on three Billboard rankings that it reappears on. The set rises highest on the Billboard 200, the most competitive albums ranking in the country, where it currently places at No. 19 after not finding space on the tally at all just days ago.
Beyoncé’s Grammy win brings Cowboy Carter to both the Top Streaming Albums and Top Album Sales charts as well. The singer’s first foray into country is back at No. 21 on the ranking of the most-streamed collections in the nation, and No. 28 on the list of the bestselling offerings in the music industry.
Cowboy Carter has already hit No. 1 on all five of those Billboard charts. It has spent 45 weeks on both the Top Country Albums and Americana/Folk Albums lists, which are less competitive than some others because they are focused entirely on just one style–or, in the case of the latter list, two related ones.
Beyoncé’s latest project is up to 37 weeks on the Billboard 200. It has managed less than half as long a stay on both the Top Album Sales and Top Streaming Albums rankings, as this turn is No. 14 on the former and No. 15 on the latter for the title.
Only one other Beyoncé album appears on a Billboard ranking this frame. Renaissance, which preceded Cowboy Carter and also earned the superstar several Grammys and a nomination for Album of the Year, lifts ever so slightly on the Top Dance Albums chart. The former leader, which has now racked up 117 stays on that genre-only roster, improves from No. 7 to No. 6 this time around.
