“Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone continues its remarkable Hot 100 run at No. 8, as “Sorry, I’m … More Here for Someone Else” and “Mystical Magical” find space on the chart. In about a month, Benson Boone will release his highly-anticipated sophomore album American Heart. The project has already spawned a pair of hits in the United States, and the Grammy-nominated singer likely still has more fan favorites just waiting to be unleashed.

While his followers seem excited about the next chapter of Boone’s musical career, most are still focusing on “Beautiful Things.” The track that made him a superstar remains far and away his biggest career win and, even to this day, stands out as his greatest current success.

Benson Boone Claims Three Spots on the Hot 100

Boone fills a trio of spaces on the Hot 100 this week. His most recent single, “Mystical Magical,” drops from No. 40, where it debuted last frame, to No. 45. At the same time, his previous release, “Sorry, I’m Here for Someone Else,” climbs one spot to No. 32, marking a new all-time high for the introductory American Heart cut on the main songs ranking in America.

While both of those tunes are performing fairly well, neither can come close to matching the success of “Beautiful Things.” This time around, that smash — released well over a year ago — steps up one space to No. 8 on the Hot 100, holding onto its position as one of the 10 most-consumed tracks throughout the country.

“Beautiful Things” Remains Benson Boone’s Biggest Hit

All three of Boone’s singles also currently appear on multiple other Billboard rankings, including the Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales charts, which remain some of the most competitive. In both instances, however, “Beautiful Things” continues as the standout.

67 Weeks on the Hot 100 – and Still Going

As of this frame, “Beautiful Things” has spent 67 weeks on the Hot 100. That’s more time on the busiest songs list than all of Boone’s other charting titles combined.

His second-longest-running win is “Slow It Down,” which racked up 29 stays somewhere on the 100-spot list. “Sorry, I’m Here for Someone Else” reaches double-digit frames for the first time, as it is now up to 10 weeks on the tally.

“Cry” has managed four turns, “Pretty” only three, “Mystical Magical” two )so far), and both “Ghost Town” and “In the Stars” have appeared for just one week apiece on the roster.

A Billboard Rule Could End His Lengthy Run

Now that “Beautiful Things” has spent more than a year on the Hot 100, it must continue to rank very high on the tally or risk being removed, possibly for good. Billboard has a rule in place stating that tracks can only remain if they chart above No. 25 after 52 frames. Since “Beautiful Things” is still present inside the top 10, it doesn’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. But if competition becomes a bit too fierce, the smash could eventually vanish.
