Balanced Body & Flex Partner To Make Pilates Purchases HSA/FSA Eligible

A new partnership with Flex unlocks tax-free spending on Balanced Body’s range of Pilates equipment and accessories

Balanced Body, a leading Pilates equipment and education company, has partnered with Flex to accept HSA and FSA payments for all products beginning May 20, expanding consumer access through pre-tax health benefits that can offer a net savings of 30–40%.

Qualified consumers can use Flex to purchase Balanced Body’s accessories, props and equipment. The line-up includes the Metro IQ, a $2,295 studio-grade, at-home Pilates reformer ideal for small spaces.

To apply their HSA or FSA funds on Balanced Body purchases, customers can add eligible items to their cart and select the Flex payment option at checkout. After completing a brief telehealth survey to confirm eligibility, users can enter their HSA or FSA card details. Those without a benefits card on hand can use a credit card instead, and Flex will provide an itemized receipt via email to submit for reimbursement.

The announcement follows a similar move by Alo Moves, which recently partnered with Flex to let users apply pre-tax HSA and FSA funds toward its digital fitness subscription with over 3,000 classes.
