Perspire Sauna Studio has reached a key growth milestone, opening its 100th location as demand for recovery and wellness services continues to climb nationwide.
The infrared sauna and red-light therapy franchise’s newest studio, in Del Mar, California, marks 16 years in business for the Costa Mesa-based brand, which was founded in 2010 and began franchising in 2018.
Since then, Perspire has steadily expanded across more than 27 states, awarding more than 280 franchise licenses to date, with additional studios slated to open across key markets including New York, New Jersey, Texas and Florida in the coming months.
The brand’s growth has been driven in part by a franchise base that often begins as customers, a dynamic founder and CEO Lee Braun has previously pointed to as central to Perspire’s approach.
“Reaching 100 open studios is a proud moment that represents a growing community that values the power of recovery,” Braun said. “What started as one studio in Costa Mesa has evolved into a national movement helping people reduce stress, lower inflammation and improve overall longevity.”
Perspire reports it has delivered more than 5 million sessions since its founding.
Each studio offers full-spectrum infrared sauna and red-light therapy in private suites, alongside SNØ Showers, a contrast therapy feature introduced in 2024 that pairs heat exposure with a 45-degree cold rainfall shower.
As it scales, Perspire says it plans to continue investing in science-backed programming and franchisee support, part of a broader push among wellness brands to pair experiential offerings with data-driven credibility.
The company has previously signaled ambitions to reach hundreds of locations nationwide, positioning itself as a leading player in the fast-growing recovery category.
