Hyrox is no longer just about the global competitions that draw in thousands of participants — it’s about the training and community cultivated around the hybrid racing boom.
To capitalize on that community-building, Hyrox has named Les Mills as its official group training program partner. The massive brand will invest in programs that enhance the sport, motivate participants and enable coaches and gyms to go all-in on the fitness competition movement.
The partnership introduces two new group training programs: Ceremony Hyrox and Ceremony Hyrox Max, based on the trademark Les Mills Ceremony functional circuit format. The programs aim to support Hyrox-specific training, while incorporating music, motivating coaching, community and science-backed workouts that Les Mills is known for.
“I’m a strong believer in club-based sports for the community and the membership engagement they create,” said Les Mills managing director Phillip Mills.
“Over the years, my clubs in New Zealand have benefited hugely from organizing running, triathlon, CrossFit training and other gym-related sports teams,” he continued. “I believe that fitness racing will be the biggest of them all, and I’m inspired to be involved with Hyrox.”

Les Mills has roots in elite competition, with its founder, Les Mills, being a four-time Olympian and New Zealand’s national track and field coach.
The two powerhouses unite a combined global footprint of more than 30,000 gym partners and 175,000 Instructors/coaches, as they create a layered partnership spanning programming, coaching development and event activations.
Operators can now access the new programs, in addition to Hyrox affiliation and the full Hyrox365 platform, as a preferential package.
“Partnering with a brand like Les Mills felt very natural to Hyrox, given its well-established reputation and credibility within the global training community, and its consistent effort when it comes to the direction of group fitness through innovative concepts,” said Hyrox chief growth officer Douglas Gremmen.
“At Hyrox we’re excited to see what the partnership holds, and the ways in which we will unlock its unique approach to developing scalable and repeatable workouts, whilst maintaining the core essence of the sport of Hyrox — helping to give athletes the experience of the best of both worlds, ensuring they are as prepared as possible for race day,” Gremmen added.
The partnership underscores an industry-wide buy-in to in-person fitness competitions pioneered by Hyrox. The brand has been collaborating with top brands spanning all sectors as its popularity continues to explode. Its latest deals include gym management platform Wodify, wearable maker Amazfit and Fitnesssmith.
