Peloton may be all in on AI, but it’s not abandoning its at-home fitness origins. In fact, it’s expanding them, transforming the idea of “home” into a connected ecosystem that now spans entire communities.
The connected fitness company’s latest move plants its equipment and fitness content inside Utah City, a 700-acre mixed-use development on the eastern shore of Utah Lake. The new community has tapped Peloton to create what the companies call Utah’s only “Peloton-powered community,” where every residential building features Peloton Spaces.
This partnership follows Peloton’s launch of the Pro Series, a commercial-grade lineup for hotels, offices and residential spaces that extends the brand’s reach from connected fitness to connected living.
At Utah City, each Peloton-branded space is outfitted with Peloton Bikes, Rows, and, beginning in early 2026, the new commercial Peloton Tread+ Pro. Residents will also have access to private Peloton-powered workout pods with mats and weights, plus Peloton IQ’s adaptive training technology, which uses AI to personalize workout plans and performance insights over time.
It’s fitting that the project is rising in Utah, recently ranked the third healthiest state in the nation, recognized for its low alcohol and tobacco use and strong wellness culture. A free outdoor fitness class led by Peloton instructor Kirra Michel kicked off the partnership, drawing more than 200 attendees. Utah City says it plans to welcome additional Peloton instructors in the future.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Utah City, a forward-thinking development that shares our commitment to wellness and community,” said Peloton senior vice president and business general manager Greg Hybl. “For the first time, Peloton will serve as the primary fitness partner for an entire residential development, with Peloton’s full Pro Series Line available to residents soon.”
Designed by city planner Jeff Speck and DPZ, Utah City integrates fitness and mobility into its infrastructure, emphasizing walkability and public green space, key principles shaping the wellness real estate market.
Peloton’s new strategy appears to be resonating with brands looking to redefine wellness on their own terms.
On Oct. 23, Hyatt is taking over Peloton Studios New York for an experiential event exclusive to its World of Hyatt credit card members, expanding a partnership that already rewards travelers for completing Peloton workouts at more than 700 hotels worldwide. The event is open exclusively to card members and their guests, who can choose from six classes led by Peloton’s top instructors and includes a live panel discussion on travel-friendly wellness routines.
