Australia-founded Studio Pilates International is expanding across Europe and the U.S. with new studios, while engaging clients through its upcoming Hell Week challenge
Studio Pilates International will open its first German location in Wiesbaden in 2026, marking a push into mainland Europe for the boutique fitness franchise. The studio will be operated by franchisees Slavica and Dominik Mühl, adding to a roster of franchisees that includes actor Jason Priestley and his wife, Naomi, in Nashville.
“Expanding into Germany is a powerful next step in our global growth,” Studio Pilates co-founder and CEO Jade Winter said. “Wiesbaden represents a key moment in broadening our footprint in Europe beyond existing regions, and we’re thrilled to work alongside Slavica and Dominik to share our approach.”
Slavica Mühl said the new studio is about more than adding another location.
“Bringing Studio Pilates to Wiesbaden means more than opening doors – it’s about creating a space where passion meets purpose, and every workout empowers a stronger, healthier community,” Mühl said.
Studio Pilates expanded rapidly in 2024 with 22 new locations and has a pipeline of openings through late 2025 and 2026 spanning the U.S., Europe, Australia and New Zealand. In the U.S., Studio Pilates will bring its reformer-based Pilates workout to Colorado, Minnesota, Texas, California, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Nevada, Florida and New York. In Europe, the company is preparing a studio in London’s Nine Elms alongside its debut in Germany. Australia and New Zealand are also growth markets with sites slated for Victoria, Queensland, Auckland and Canterbury.
In addition to opening new studios, Studio Pilates continues to lean on signature programming to build its global brand. Later this month, the franchise will host its only “Hell Week” of 2025, a five-day challenge that compresses 10 reformer workouts into a single week. Modeled after Navy SEAL training, the event is designed to push clients past plateaus.
