Lilysilk Enters Activewear With Silkerry

Lilysilk makes its activewear debut as comfort wear evolves into restwear amid the rise of sleep wellness

Luxury fashion company Lilysilk is smoothing its way into activewear with a new line, Silkerry, crafted with a proprietary silk-enhanced terry fabric that is cooling, antimicrobial and durable, all while remaining fashion-forward.

The debut collection encompasses three design concepts: Seamflow, a city-inspired line that features an oversized hoodie with functional pockets and a smooth zip closure; Porchlight, which showcases relaxed silhouettes such as lounge shorts and Heirloom ’89, a vintage-inspired sport line of jackets. All are available in four colorways: Black, Heather, Espresso and Blush Pink. Prices in the Silkerry collection range from $79 for lounge shorts to $129 for joggers and sweatpants, with most pieces falling between $99 and $125.

“Activewear isn’t just for the gym anymore,” Lilysilk CEO David Wang said. “As fitness, work and life blend seamlessly, people expect apparel that delivers both style and elegance. Silkerry brings the luxury of silk into movement apparel, creating pieces that move effortlessly from yoga mats to city streets.”

While Lilysilk is focused on activewear with Silkerry, the line also reflects a shift toward comfort-driven apparel that stylishly bridges movement, lounge and even sleep. And with sleep health now a booming category, from AI-powered headbands to high-tech mattresses like Eight Sleep, the stage is all but set for apparel to follow suit.

Functional sleepwear brand Dagsmejan has been in the performance sleepwear space since its launch in 2016, offering collections tailored to specific sleep needs, from Stay Cool and Stay Warm sets to Recovery Sleepwear intended to support muscle repair. The brand also sells Balance Sleepwear for women experiencing hot flashes, Sensitive Sleepwear for delicate skin and even Relaxwear designed for winding down before bed.

If Dagsmejan represents the functional side of sleepwear, engineering garments around physiology and recovery, PJs by PJ highlights the playful, vibe-driven side of sleepwear.

Known for its city-inspired prints and the slogan “wear your home,” the sleepwear label has built a cult following with buttery-soft fabrics that nod to local culture, from New York’s Pizza Rat and Lady Liberty to Erewhon and the Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles. Its newest Hamptons print, featuring the Montauk Lighthouse, Round Swamp Farm and the Hamptons Jitney, marks PJs by PJ’s first move beyond pajama sets into boxer shorts and rompers, unveiled earlier this month with a buzzy laundromat pop-up in Montauk.
