Precor eyes growth in Italy after strong demand at RiminiWellness, naming Canali System as exclusive distributor to strengthen local market presence
Precor has named Canali System as its exclusive distributor in Italy, expanding its presence in one of Europe’s key fitness markets and strengthening local access to its portfolio of premium fitness and wellness equipment.
The agreement gives Canali System responsibility for sales, installation, service and warehousing of Precor products across Italy.
“We are excited to announce our partnership with Canali System. Like Precor, they are a brand at the forefront of innovation in the fitness industry,” Precor senior business manager Derek Burke said. “There is huge demand and desire for Precor in the Italian market, which we experienced firsthand at RiminiWellness recently, and we’re looking forward to continued growth in this important market.”

Canali System will now offer Precor’s full line of cardio, strength and connected fitness products, including Glutebuilder, Stages Cycling and Assault Fitness. Canali’s own Auxotonic 2.0 and Flexibility lines will complement the portfolio.

The Canali System partnership also aligns with Precor’s broader strategy to elevate connected fitness across global markets. Building on its long-running collaboration with EGYM, Precor continues to invest in open-platform solutions that give operators greater control over the workout experience.
“We’re not going to become the prescriptive engine behind an exerciser’s experience,” Jason Ostrander, Precor’s marketing and connected fitness leader, said earlier this year. “We’re not that. But we can be excellent at providing our customers with the tools they need to make intelligent decisions, communicate with their members and provide a platform for an impactful fitness journey.”
