The 2025 American Music Awards on Monday will include performances by Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson, Blake Shelton and Jennifer Lopez.
Created by music industry icon Dick Clark in 1974, the American Music Awards will be celebrating its 51st anniversary this year. In addition to performing at the AMAs on Monday night, Lopez is also serving as the show’s host. The 2025 AMA ceremony is broadcasting live from the all-new luxury resort Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
In addition to Lopez, Shelton, Boone and Wilson, the list of performers for the 2025 AMAs includes Icon Award recipient Janet Jackson; Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Rod Stewart, Gloria Estefan, Gwen Stefani and Reneé Rapp.
Per the AMAs, additional participants and presenters at Monday’s ceremony include Alix Earle, Cara Delevingne, Ciara, Dan + Shay, Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles, Kai Cenat, Megan Moroney, Nikki Glaser, Shaboozey, Tiffany Haddish and Wayne Brady.
The 2025 AMAs get underway at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and will also stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.
In addition, the event will be available to watch on Penske Media’s proprietary live-streaming platform Harmony and be viewed on the company’s owned and operated websites. The sites include Variety, Rolling Stone, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, WWD, Deadline, Vibe, IndieWire and Gold Derby.
The winners at the AMAs are determined entirely by fan votes and, per the organization, is “the world’s largest fan-voted award show.”

Who Leads The 2025 AMA Nominations?
Hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar leads all nominees for the 2025 American Music Awards with 10 nods, including Artist of the Year. Also vying for the Artist of the Year award are Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA, Taylor Swift and Zach Bryan.
Lamar is also up for the Album of the Year AMA for GNX. Also up for Album of the Year are Beyoncé for Cowboy Carter, Eilish for Hit Me Hard and Soft, Charli XCX for Brat, Gracie Abrams for The Secret of Us, Malone for F-1 Trillion, Roan for The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, Carpenter for Short and Sweet and Swift for The Tortured Poets Department.
Malone is nominated for eight AMAs, while Eilish, Roan and Shaboozey are nominated for seven apiece. See the complete list of nominations here.
Since the AMAs are being held on Memorial Day for the first time, the show will be honoring U.S. troops and veterans with a special tribute.
