The F1 2025 season kicks off in March and runs all the way to December, wrapping up the current regulatory era before major changes roll out in 2026.

In 2024, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen clinched his fourth consecutive drivers’ title after enduring perhaps his toughest season yet with a daunting 10-race winless streak.

Meanwhile, McLaren finally celebrated their first constructors’ championship in 26 years, with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri leading the charge.

Throughout the season, the driver market has seen some wild moves, starting with the shocking news of Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari in 2025 and ending with Sergio Perez leaving Red Bull and Liam Lawson stepping in to take his place.

Interestingly, McLaren and Aston Martin are the only teams sticking with their 2024 driver lineup, while the grid will see six rookies jumping in for 2025.

Now, F1 is all set for one last run with the current cars and engines before the big changes hit in 2026.

F1 2025 Schedule

Before the season gets underway, teams will engage in three days of pre-season testing in Bahrain from February 26-28. This period allows them to gain insight into their new cars’ performance and reliability and make any necessary adjustments.

The 24-race season then kicks off in Melbourne, Australia on March 16, with Albert Park hosting its first season opener since 2019.

With the month of Ramadan falling in March, both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have shifted their races, landing the fourth and fifth rounds on April 13 and April 20 respectively.

The season runs all the way into December, with Abu Dhabi hosting the finale at Yas Marina Circuit on December 7.
