Pump Room Fitness, a new high-performance gym in Orange, Connecticut, has officially opened its doors for competitive lifters, bodybuilders and fitness newcomers with 24/7 access.
Founded by WBFF Pro and NPC bodybuilding competitor Darlene Sanner, Pump Room Fitness is equipped with high-end machines from Precor, Rep Fitness, Hoist and BootyBuilder, and offers an infrared sauna, posing room, personal training, nutrition coaching and competition prep services at its 33 Old Tavern Road location in Orange, CT.
Sanner, a mother of five, said the gym was inspired by her own transformation through fitness. She began competing in bodybuilding in 2022, earning her WBFF Pro Card at her debut competition and later placing in international contests. In 2024, she won first place in the Open Bikini division under the NPC federation and is now training for a national-level competition with the goal of earning her IFBB Pro Card.
“I wanted to create a space where others could experience that same transformation,” she said. “Pump Room Fitness is not just a gym in Orange, CT. It’s a community where people push limits and shatter boundaries.”
Local leaders and residents turned out for the official launch, including Amity Chamber of Commerce CEO Barry Lee Cohen, who praised the gym’s value to the community.

Pump Room Fitness is offering flexible membership options as part of its grand opening push, including discounted rates for long-term commitments and special pricing for students and families.
The general membership includes 24/7 access to the full facility and posing room. Rates start at $59.99 per month with no commitment, while a one-year agreement is $49.99 per month. Additional discounts are available for prepaid plans, family packages and students. Members also receive a complimentary consultation for personal training and nutrition services. A day pass is available for $20.
