Rosé’s single “Apt.,” her collaboration with Bruno Mars, isn’t just another hit for the Blackpink singer. It’s much bigger than simply her most successful tune in the Unied States. The track is far and away one of the most commercially viable releases by any K-pop musician in American history. It has remained on a number of Billboard rankings for half a year, and nearly every frame, it ties a record or pushes a ceiling even higher.
While “Apt” is slipping on some lists, it’s still climbing on at least one — and that’s enough to help the tune make history once again.
Rosé Rises on the Adult Contemporary Chart
On the latest edition of the Adult Contemporary chart, Billboard’s ranking of the cuts that reach the largest total audience via radio stations that focus on the adult contemporary subgenre of pop, “Apt.” pushes forward just one space, settling at No. 16. That’s not a new peak for the tune, but rather, the song returns to its all-time high on the ranking.
Rosé Ties BTS Again
Sixteenth place is the highest any K-pop act has ever climbed on the Adult Contemporary chart. The rise of “Apt.” helps Rosé once again tie with BTS’s “Dynamite” and “My Universe” with Coldplay, as both of those tunes also reached that spot several years ago.

“Apt.” is already the third-longest-charting tune by any K-pop star on the Adult Contemporary tally. It has now spent 15 weeks on the roster, but it needs to hold on for at least another month to match the 20 frames that both “Dynamite” and “My Universe” managed during their runs.
Since the tune is still sitting at its all-time high, it seems likely that it will remain on the chart for at least a few more weeks. “Apt.” could very well best both BTS cuts and stand out not just as the highest-peaking, but also longest-running success ever by a K-pop superstar.
“Apt.” is a Hit Across a Number of Billboard Charts
This frame, “Apt.” continues to appear on eight other Billboard charts. Three of those are radio-focused rankings, and it remains a big hit on each of them. While it drops slightly on both the Radio Songs and Adult Pop Airplay tallies, it’s still living inside the top 20. At the same time, it keeps its position at No. 14 on the Pop Airplay list.
The lowest spot that “Apt.” reaches this frame in America is No. 25, which is where it sits on the Streaming Songs ranking. With such impressive staying power across the board, there’s a good chance Rosé and Mars will keep their surprisingly popular collaboration going on the Billboard tallies for a while.
