Deloitte is hiring job seekers who don’t have a college degree via a program to expand career opportunities and meet its workforce needs.

No college degree; no problem. This is the effect of the increasing popularity and application of skills-based hiring practices. The message being sent by many employers today is that—if you have the skills—we can train you faster than it takes to get that college degree.

Deloitte, a 180-year-old company, was founded in 1845 by William Welch Deloitte as an accounting firm in London. Today, Deloitte has become the world’s largest consulting and advisory network spanning 150 countries and territories and employing approximately 460,000 people working across the globe. The company has also broadened its service offerings far beyond accounting to include business process, AI & data, human capital, strategy and more.

For many reasons, including expanding its workforce and delivering for its clients, the company has expanded its career options to provide pathways for job seekers—who lack a college degree—to become employed.

Deloitte is hiring job seekers without a college degree.

The company explains that its expanded career program provides opportunities for people without a college degree across four different pathways.

1. ENCORE return to work

This pathway is designed for those who seek to re-enter the workforce after having stepped away for extended time from working.

2. Skills-first professionals

This pathway is designed for job seekers with work experience who desire to transition or pivot into a new role with Deloitte. It’s also designed for individuals who are starting out fresh into their career journey.

3. Neurodiversity

This pathway is designed for neurodivergent talent and provides training and apprenticeship offerings that could lead to full-time employment.

4. Hiring our heroes

This pathway is designed to help service members, military spouses and veterans identify career paths and secure job opportunities.

Here’s a message on the company’s website about expanding career pathways and employment opportunities without having a college degree.

We recognize that there are multiple paths to a successful career. We have designed our programs to provide training and mentorship to help participating individuals hit the ground running. We offer a variety of programs that empower participants by providing tailored recruitment based on role and level, and training opportunities. As part of these programs, we offer support for veterans, neurodiverse professionals, caregivers, individuals without a four-year degree, and other individuals from unique backgrounds and experiences. The support we provide through these programs can help individuals make the transition to a career at Deloitte.

Deloitte says that it’s not its size or service offerings that makes it different. Instead, what makes the company different is, “how we come together to create a more equitable and prosperous future for generations to come.”

Search jobs at Deloitte that don’t require a college degree.

Deloitte says it is hiring people who don’t have a college degree and will help them add company value from the very beginning of their career. The company praises its people as being its greatest asset and says it recognizes the value of a diverse and talented workforce.

Deloitte has a site where—experienced hires and apprenticeship—job seekers can search and apply for jobs that don’t require a four-year college degree. This website is where people who already have work experience in their chosen field can apply for jobs with the company. It’s also the place to search for available apprenticeship opportunities.

Here are three titles for currently available jobs that you could qualify for without a college degree.

  1. Senior Event Planner – West Region Marketplace
  2. Senior Manager, Channel Sales – Palantir – Government & Public Services
  3. Associate Technology Support Analyst – New York

Not requiring a college degree is not the same as not requiring skills or experience.

It’s important to understand that a no-college-degree requirement is not the same as a no-skills requirement. And, a no-degree requirement does not mean a no-education requirement. Relevant training and learning are important.

Employers, including Deloitte, are interested in relevant skills and experience. But, in some instances, they are waiving the requirement that applicants have earned a four-year college degree.
