Jimmy Page returns to the U.K. charts with Live at the Greek, earning his first-ever vinyl placement … More and a new peak on the Official Albums Sales chart. The band were initially booked to play three nights at the venue, from 23rd to 25th May, but due to public demand, two more concerts were later added, for 17th and 18th May. Jimmy Page is best known as the driving force behind Led Zeppelin, but he’s carved out a solo career with a handful of side projects that fans continue to enjoy. This week, he’s not just back on the charts in the United Kingdom, he’s bigger than ever in several ways. Thanks to a special reissue of one of his most only solo live albums, the guitar legend returns to the rankings, and also places on one he’s never reached on his own before.

Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes Return

More than 25 years ago, Page linked up with the Black Crowes for a special concert in Los Angeles. The result of that team-up was Live at the Greek, a full-length live album that captured the show perfectly. That project was recently reissued to celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary, and fans have clearly responded. This frame, Live at the Greek appears on three different charts in the U.K. It debuts on two of them and re-enters another in a higher position than ever before.

Jimmy Page Earns His Highest-Rising Hit

Live at the Greek debuts at No. 13 on the Official Albums Sales chart. That ranking counts only pure sales across the U.K., whether digital or on a physical format.

The No. 13 showing earns Page his best placement yet on this list under his own name. He’s only appeared on the tally once before. Back in 2019, when his joint effort with Robert Plant, What Made Milwaukee Famous, started and peaked at a distant No. 91.

Jimmy Page’s New Career Peak

The same reissue brings Live at the Greek back to another important ranking, the Official Physical Albums chart. The list tracks only purchases of CDs, vinyl, and other tangible formats, which continue to be an important space for legacy artists with dedicated collectors.

Live at the Greek re-enters that list at No. 11. That placement becomes the album’s brand new peak. While it’s a new best for the project, Page has performed even better on this ranking in the past. No Quarter, another collaboration with Plant, launched at No. 7 back in 1994. What Made Milwaukee Famous also made it onto this list, but it stalled at No. 67.

Jimmy Page Debuts on One Chart for the First Time

The reissue of Live at the Greek didn’t just perform via CD and digital shoppers, it also sold well on vinyl. This week, it debuts on the Official Vinyl Albums chart at No. 11, making it one of the top-selling vinyl releases in the country.

This is a first for Page. While his work with Led Zeppelin has helped him place on the vinyl ranking before, this new arrival marks the first time he’s reached the chart with a project under his own name.
