Fleetwood Mac sees five singles and two albums charting in the U.K. this week, with “Albatross” and … More “The Chain” both making notable comebacks. The legendary pop-rock band Fleetwood Mac, which includes members who originally hail from the U.K., continues to connect with listeners decade after decade in that nation. The group is consistently present on a variety of tallies, and this week is no different. Several of its most iconic singles and albums are either climbing or returning to various rankings in what has turned out to be a very busy frame for the outfit.

Fleetwood Mac’s “Albatross” Flies High

Among the returning hits from the band this week, “Albatross” is the higher riser. The Fleetwood Mac tune reappears on the Official Physical Singles chart at No. 54. That ranking includes only the bestselling cuts available on CD, vinyl, and cassette in the U.K.

“Albatross” has now spent 21 weeks on that list throughout its chart life, and in the past, it soared as high as No. 8.

“The Chain” is a Streaming Smash Again

While “The Chain” doesn’t earn quite as lofty a spot as “Albatross,” it does reach a new milestone. The beloved cut breaks back onto the Official Streaming chart at No. 92. That may not be an especially high position, but it does mark a new personal best for the song on that list.

So far, “The Chain” has spent just eight weeks as one of the most-played tracks in the country on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. That sum is sure to grow, especially considering the fact that it is currently hitting new highs.

Several Other Fleetwood Mac Continue to Chart

Fleetwood Mac doesn’t just have a pair of songs charting this week — it claims a handful of big wins, even though the band hasn’t released new music in many years. “Dreams” and “Everywhere” both show up on two important tallies, the Official Singles chart, which ranks the most-consumed tunes across the U.K., and the Official Streaming list. Joining those two on the streaming-focused tally is “Go Your Own Way.”

Fleetwood Mac Albums Continue Their Reign

It’s not just individual tracks that are charting this week from Fleetwood Mac, as the band’s albums – two of them, at least – are selling and streaming in large numbers as well. Rumours, as usual, is the biggest winner. The Grammy-winning effort appears on half a dozen charts this frame, once again standing out as one of the most dominant releases by a legacy act in the U.K.

At the same time, 50 Years – Don’t Stop earns plenty of love as well. The compilation doesn’t show up on as many tallies, but it holds firm inside the top 10 on both of the rankings it currently inhabits. That feat alone is impressive, especially considering the title has been out for several years and still performs like a recent release.
