Taylor Swift’s Folklore appears on four U.K. charts, including gains on streaming and sales tallies, … More
Nearly five years after its surprise release, Folklore continues to hold as one of Taylor Swift’s most interesting and artistically daring works. The set, which arrived during the COVID-19 pandemic, almost never completely disappears from the charts in the United Kingdom, but this week, it’s making a comeback. The Grammy-winning album isn’t just holding steady — it’s climbing, reappearing, and reasserting itself as a fan favorite on multiple rankings.
Taylor Swift’s Folklore Appears on Multiple U.K. Charts
This week, Folklore finds itself on four separate U.K. rankings. That’s not unheard of for the title, but it’s not just still charting, it’s reappearing.
Folklore breaks back onto the Official Physical Albums chart at No. 87, managing a return to the vinyl, CD, and cassette-focused tally. It also reemerges one spot lower at No. 88 on the Official Albums Sales roster, which tracks pure purchases across all formats, including downloads.
Taylor Swift’s Bestseller Climbs
While Folklore returns to two sales-specific charts, it’s also on the rise elsewhere. The title climbs to No. 56 on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts. The full-length earns a two-spot bump on the streaming-only tally and an even more substantial eight-rung jump on the main list of the most-consumed albums in the U.K.
Where Folklore Peaked
Folklore’s chart history mirrors its current movements. The folk/alternative set previously peaked at No. 1 on both the Official Albums and the Official Albums Streaming charts. It never reached the summit on the two tallies it reenters this week. Instead, it topped out at No. 2.
Folklore Has Spent Hundreds of Weeks on the Charts
Folklore has now spent 243 weeks on both the Official Albums chart and the streaming-focused ranking where it climbs this time around. It crossed 200 total frames on the Albums Sales and Physical Albums lists not long ago, as its performance is fairly even across a variety of tallies.
Taylor Swift’s Other Albums are Also Climbing
This frame, seven of Swift’s albums appear on U.K.-based rankings, and many of them are also rising. Alongside Folklore, Lover also returns to two tallies as well, joining its successor in upward movements.
Folklore was released in July 2020 and won Album of the Year at the Grammys. It marked a sonic shift for Swift as she embraced a more indie and alternative sound. Since then, it has become one of her most critically acclaimed and commercially successful projects.
