SalesRevv has raised $3.24 million in seed funding for its software platform that deploys AI-powered sales agents to help fitness and wellness franchise businesses convert more leads into paying members.
RTP Global and Floodgate led the seed round, which SalesRevv will use to expand its development, marketing and sales teams while enhancing its platform’s AI capabilities.
Founded in 2023 by former fitness franchise owners Joe DeMarco and Nick Sheehan, along with fitness entrepreneur Bhargav Patel, SalesRevv is designed to act as a “24/7 digital salesperson” for fitness and wellness businesses. The sales automation platform’s AI-powered agents can send automated follow-ups, communicate with leads through email and text messages, and even sign people up for memberships.
SalesRevv integrates with point-of-sale (POS) systems, allowing it to manage bookings and process sales.
“Our mission is to make sales the simplest part of running your business,” says DeMarco, who serves as SalesRevv’s CEO. “SalesRevv engages every lead and customer with real-time, AI-driven communication, allowing franchises and business owners to never miss a text message, call or email from a client when helping them to get booked or signed up for a membership.”
DeMarco, who has owned CycleBar franchises in seven states and also founded a barre studio in New Jersey called Local Barre, says he and his team built SalesRevv to recreate the successful sales formula they used in their own businesses and democratize it using the power of AI.
SalesRevv’s AI agents email and text directly with customers and potential customers. In time, they’ll be able to make phone calls too, DeMarco says. The AI agents are trained to speak in a brand’s voice, and business owners can make tweaks to bring the AI more in line with their preferred style of communication.
“This is not like a chatbot; it feels and acts like a person at the front desk,” DeMarco tells Athletech News.
The best part, according to DeMarco, is that SalesRevv never sleeps – unlike human salespeople.
“People love this platform because it’s basically an engine that’s running all the time,” he says. “We have a customer in New York City that has 1,000 leads a month and they weren’t coming close to touching them. Now, every one of their leads is being worked because of our system.”
SalesRevv first launched in March 2024, and it’s already off to an impressive start. The platform currently works with 90 franchise owners in the United States across 15 brands, including Pure Barre, CycleBar and YogaSix locations.
A group of YogaSix franchisees reported 110% average membership growth and a 133% increase in bookings after using SalesRevv, according to the platform,
SalesRevv is one of the first fitness and wellness software platforms to make use of “agentic AI” – artificial intelligence agents that can make decisions and carry out tasks without the need for human supervision – although there are a few other competitors on the market.
With the new funding, SalesRevv is aiming to get at least 500 clients signed up by the end of this year, a goal DeMarco says it’s on track to achieve.
Right now, SalesRevv works with businesses in the fitness, wellness and beauty sector, including boutique fitness studios, medspas and salons. SalesRevv primarily works with franchise businesses, although it’s open to working with independent operators as well.
