The set earned a lofty debut on charts all around the world, but it didn’t manage to perform nearly as well as its predecessor. The Grammy winner’s most recent full-length disappeared from the Billboard charts months ago, as did all of its singles.
The same cannot be said for Future Nostalgia, the sophomore project from the British-Albanian pop star. That bestseller not only remains on the American rankings but brings her to a milestone she has never seen before.

Future Nostalgia can be found only on the Billboard 200 this week. The title celebrates as it hits 250 frames on the ranking of the most-consumed albums across the U.S.
Unsurprisingly, Future Nostalgia is Lipa’s first album to spend 250 weeks on the Billboard 200. It has long reigned as her most successful offering, and none of her several other projects come close to matching its longevity.
Dua Lipa’s Self-Titled Debut Album on the Billboard 200
The singer-songwriter’s self-titled debut full-length continues to hold as her second-longest-running win on the Billboard 200. The project has yet to crack triple-digit frames on the list, though it’s close, at 97 weeks spent on the tally.
Radical Optimism Was Not a Major Success
Radical Optimism, by comparison, couldn’t even hold on for one-tenth as long as Future Nostalgia. The 2024 release only managed 15 stays before dropping off the 200-spot ranking.
Future Nostalgia’s Current Success
Luminate reports that in the past tracking frame, Future Nostalgia moved about 8,700 equivalent album units. That sum is largely made up of streaming equivalent albums, as its many hits continue to collect a huge number of plays on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music every week.
Dua Lipa’s New Hot 100 Hit
As Future Nostalgia brings Lipa to a notable landmark, she scores a new hit on Billboard’s most important songs tally. The singer joins Blackpink star Jennie on the track “Handlebars,” which debuts on the Hot 100 at No. 80 this time around. It marks Lipa’s twenty-fourth smash on the competitive roster, and it’s one of multiple new wins from the South Korean superstar, whose debut full-length Ruby also scores a notable starting point on several lists in America.
