Xfinity is increasing its partnership with 23XI Racing, the Nascar Cup Series team co-owned by NBA legend Michael Jordan and Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin.
Not only will Xfinity be featured as a primary sponsor on 23XI’s two cars driven by Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick, but the Comcast service will have a physical presence at the team’s shop, Airspeed.
The Xfinity Speed Center officially debuted on Wednesday evening, serving as a communications hub for 23XI Racing personnel to connect with crew members at the track. Think of it as a command center for 23XI Racing officials who do not travel to the track each week.
“Xfinity has been a strong supporter of Nascar in general and a key partner with 23XI, so we’re thrilled to have them expand with our organization as we continue to grow,” Hamlin said in a statement. “It’s great to have a partner that not only shares a passion for racing but also understands how important innovation and reliable technology are to our current and future success. Xfinity has also always done a great job connecting with fans, so we’re excited to be a part of reaching out to avid and new fans through our partnership.”
Tyler Reddick will have an Xfinity Mobile Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Xfinity will have seven primary paint schemes throughout the year – five on Reddick’s No. 45 car and two on Wallace’s No. 23 Toyota – an increase from one each with Reddick and Wallace in 2024.
The increased partnership announcement comes just after Comcast revealed it will not renew its title sponsorship of the Xfinity Series after 2025. However, the firm will continue as a Cup Series premier partner.
“Since our partnership with 23XI Racing began, we’ve worked closely to drive innovation and excellence for the team, both on and off track,” Jess Muir, senior director of brand partnerships and amplification at Comcast, said. “This extension underscores our commitment to supporting 23XI Racing’s growth, engaging our fans in new and meaningful ways, and providing Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick with the resources they need to excel on race day.”
Wallace started off the 2025 season by winning the Bluegreen Vacations Duel qualifying race at Daytona prior to the Daytona 500.
Reddick is coming off his best season in Nascar competition, finishing fourth in the Cup Series standings with three wins. He finished runner-up to William Byron in Sunday’s Daytona 500.
