ForbesToday’s NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Tuesday, February 11thBy Erik Kain

Welcome back, dearest Crosswordians and puzzle solvers! It’s Odin’s Day, and we all know that Odin is a trickster god, a merry prankster, a one-eyed, two-faced deity with a card up his sleeve at all times. This is not in any way relevant to our task at hand, of course! We have a Mini Crossword to solve!

The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

Spoilers ahead!

ACROSS

1- “Give me some ___” — SPACE

6- Chocolate-flavored coffee drink — MOCHA

7- Ending point for a walk down the aisle — ALTAR

8- Hybrid women’s golfing attire — SKORT

9- Overly tough — HARSH

DOWN

1- Huge hit — SMASH

2- Music genre that often includes an accordion — POLKA

3- Jamie Foxx or Michael J. Fox — ACTOR

4- Blackens on the grill — CHARS

5- You are here — EARTH

Some of these were tricky today because they could be anything. “Give me some___” could be too many five-letter words to count, so I skipped it and went down the row, knocking out MOCHA and ALTAR quickly and getting hung up on SKORT and HARSH. Moving to DOWNs helped, with SMASH, POLKA, ACTOR and CHARS pretty much filling everything in—and at last, SPACE and EARTH. This one took me 1:01.

How did you do? Let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.

If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
