Indoor bike leader Wattbike has launched the Wattbike Air-Pro as a premium offering for the commercial cycling sector, such as gyms and health clubs, amid an increase in indoor cycling activities.
The latest bike builds on the Wattbike Pro/Trainer and features updated magnetic resistance and internal electronics, as well as a new 7″ performance touchscreen that integrates with the Wattbike Hub app and can connect to third-party apps with ANT+ and Bluetooth. Late last year, Wattbike had introduced the free, multilingual Wattbike Hub app packed with expert-designed training programs for all levels, including those recovering from injuries — a move that also provides wider accessibility.
Designed for durability, the Air-Pro also offers Wattbike’s signature fan-based air resistance system and braking system and can be placed anywhere in a fitness facility, as it’s powered by its riders.
The Air-Pro is available for delivery in the U.K., and orders are now open exclusively through Wattbike. A global rollout will begin this spring.

The company, founded in 2000 by former world champion rower Ian Wilson and developed alongside British Cycling, reports a 35% year-over-year growth in sales and interest in its brand following its launch of home fitness bikes Proton and Air.
