Bhayshul Tuten was a name that most weren’t even considering for 2025 dynasty rookie rankings, not too long ago. In a stacked running back class, Tuten was often overlooked due to the fact that he played at Virginia Tech and was a bit smaller at 5’ 9”. One thing that anyone who watched Tuten would notice, though, is his incredible speed.
Tuten backed that up at the NFL Combine, running a 4.32 40-yard dash. With Tuten measuring in the green for all but one athletic test (shuttle), he would overcome his 5’ 9” and 206 lb frame to score a 9.32 on the relative athletic scale. Below, we’ll break down Tuten’s full profile and place him in my 2025 dynasty rookie rankings.

Bhayshul Tuten: Prospect Profile
As mentioned above, Tuten’s superpower is his speed. On film, Tuten consistently shows home run speed when he gets to the second level. On top of that, he shows strong hands out of the backfield and plus contact balance.
One of the main issues for Tuten is his inability to hold onto the ball. In 2024 and 2023, Tuten had four fumbles in each season. That’s a major issue and it’s tough for these kinds of players to have a role in the NFL. The hope is that Tuten can address this, but it’s something that can be extremely hard to fix.
Projected NFL Draft Capital
Based on how the NFL prioritizes speed and explosiveness, I expect Tuten to be a late third-round pick. NFL Mock Draft Database isn’t too far behind, with the consensus rank for Tuten there being 102nd overall (fourth round).
In terms of Tuten’s range of outcomes, this matters a lot. According to a past study, Tuten would have a 5% higher chance of becoming an RB1 and a 9% higher chance of becoming an RB2 if he’s drafted in round three versus round four.
